OMG

i, karen hart, am addicted to lost. so far ive watched the first seven episodes. IM SUCKED IN!!

in other news, my classes are reeeeeaaaaalllllyy hard. so, i probably wont be updating much. i have a humongous work load.

yesterday we (me, amanda, ava, juliet) went to color me mine!! and painted pottery!! amanda had this awesome blowfish and juliet had a cute fairy and ava had a supremely awesome piggy bank. and i had a hippo!! he's pink with blue spots and freckles! and his name is hippy! lol. basically, we sat in there with a bunch of 10 yr olds. it was much fun!

ok, so my little sister was mad at me today and decided to perform a play for me about how terrible i was using the little cardboard stage and characters we own. here's the basics:

cinderella (in rags): hi, im juliana.

the maid: im valerie

the evil stepsister: im karen. muahaha!!

the prince and some lady: and we're mom and dad! and we're going on a date! mwah mwah mwah! bye girls!

valerie: im going to soccer practice. bye!

karen: i'm going to ann and george's houses! at the same time! and you have to clean the entire house while i'm gone!! because i am evil!! MUAHAHAHA!!

jana: *gets mad and throws a ball and breaks a glass* i'm watching tv instead! so ha!

val: *comes home*

karen: *comes home* why are you watching tv? you're not allowed! GRR!! *checks surveillance tapes, yes apparently we have them* you broke dad's favorite glass?!?! i must now pummel you!!! *calls ann and george to come help kill jana*

fairy godmother: hi, im george.

karen: what are you wearing??

george: oh, just something i found in my closet.

cinderella at the ball with the giant pink poofy dress: hi, im ann. (at this point i dissolved into laughter and jana got mad cuz i wasnt getting her point)

karen: wanna help me pummel jana?

ann: *in a seductress voice* oh, i'd loooove to. (i was hysterically rolling around on the floor right then, i think)

and then everyone smacked juliana around until i died in some tragic accident. or got eaten by a shark. or something like that.

in other news...

i now have an easy button!!

when you push it, it says "that was easy!"

i've been laughing since i got home from school.

and come to think of it, im still laughing!

ok, so i hadn't cantored in like three months before today.

kinda makes you forget how awful it can be.

i mean, yes, i love the stage and all, but church is not a stage. duh. and i don't like that everyone is staring at me and whatnot...it makes me waay too self concious.

the psalm is the worst, though :shudder:

not only to you have to sing it from the pulpit, which is terrible and i always start shaking (which fortunately only the priests and deacons behind me can see) but oh no, thats not the worst part of it. it's getting there.

which means bowing in front of the altar.

in the middle aisle.

while everyone is sitting down.

and most likely staring at my fat butt.

but...i did ok i guess.

this was very ranting, so...im gonna shut up now.

OK, first day of school update!

I <3 the Mount. Yes, I'm a dork. but being in school means seeing my friends every day again! yay!

so we go to homeroom first thing and everyone gets their schedules except....me! which then sent me on the quest for my schedule, taking me all around the school and getting me absolutely nothing. so we had to go to our classes and i didn't know what they were!

karens thought process: ok, what do i have this half? i dont remember! i know i have sophomore history...so maybe i should just go there first...

thankfully, it turns out i do happen to have sophomore history first. that was odd....seeing as im the only junior in the class. so me and major just chatted for 15 mins. he's cool.

karens thought process: ooo i remember i have english second! thats great! wait....what room am i in? whos my teacher?? I DONT KNOW! ::runs to every english classroom in the english section:: ok, none of these are my class...i bet i have mrs destefano! ::runs to mrs destefano's room::

english: ava juliet and au are in my class! so are chelsea and maddy, but i dont really know them. YAY!

at least i managed to remember, thanks partially to alicia, that i had ap physics third, so that was fine. we just talked about robotics, since we're the only juniors in the class.

so then i knew i must have either computers or gym, and seeing as there was nobody in mrs toths room i figured i must have gym. yay for gym! amanda juliet and george are in my class!!

it was great to see everyone again! im gonna be so stressed out this year, but for now im hyper, so its not sinking in.

in other news, im sooo quitting the show. i was thinking about it all summer, but being here made me remember just how much i hate mr glandorf. not to mention, im gonna have plenty to do without the show. homework, robotics, NHS, acadram? maybe, and im thinking of maybe joining lit mag. maybe. probably not. but i WILL submit stuff this year.
